    My mom recently went to the hospital due to a fall. We knew she wasn't going to be able to go home and be alone until she was able to regain her balance and be more independent. We were told to look into some rehab for her so she could strengthen her legs and work on balance and mobility. The Case manager at the hospital gave us a list and off we went to visit places and see what they had to offer. That is how I ended up at Castleton Health Care. When you walk in you are greeted by a bright and beautiful lobby. The receptionist greeted me and was so warm and welcoming. We were then greeted by the Admissions Director that sat me down and talked to me about what was going on with mom. She was super informative and answered all my questions. She made sure to understand what was most important to me and mom. As she walked me through the building, every staff member we passed came and introduced themselves offering to help in any way they could. Hanna, the Admissions Director, had explained how Castleton was like a big family and it really showed. The rehab rooms were beautiful private rooms with their own bathroom and shower! Very spacious. I got to meet the rehab director that walked me through how they would customize moms rehab to make sure she could go home with all the skills needed to be independent. Then I got to meet the Director of Nursing who reassured me that they were able to meet all of mom's needs. Everyone was so reassuring, helpful, and understanding how stressful this process was. Most importantly, this is probably the cleanest building I've ever seen. I didn't smell any bad odors at all. All the residents there looked happy and well taken care of. Everywhere else we looked at just didn't compare to Castleton. I am so excited to get mom in there, rehabbed, and home! I have complete confidence she will be in the best of hands. I highly recommend this place!
