Lack of care and the fact that my wife spent more time in the hospital than recuperating in their facility..

Caring Hands is an assisted living home for the one you love, that is still about to help in his or her daily challenges. The home is very clean and roomy, very friendly people. They have activities and a bus that takes the residents on outings, that are very supervised and safe for you loved one. Caring Hands provides single rooms and companion room at a very nice price that you can afford. check this home out for you and yours .You will fall in love.

It is very difficult to find appropriate housing for a loved one when they can no longer live alone. The first thing I noticed was the attractiveness of the facility: it is nicely landscaped and furnished beautifully inside with lots of room in the common areas. Each individual room is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. It is a beautiful place. They call when they notice any medical problems and are willing to accompany clients to doctor appointments where they can provide the necessary observations to help with diagnosis of problems. They can participate in organized activities, movies and lively discussions at the dining table. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, caring, concerned and happy. I know that whenever I visit, I will be greeted at the door with a smile. I will walk into the house and smell something good cooking. And I will see people engaged in a variety of activities with other clients and the staff. This is a very special place and I am completely comfortable recommending it.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
