    It is the first High Skilled Care Facility that I have ever been in that did not have odors. We looked at two otger facilities and interviewed otgers and found out horror stories on others. A friend referred us to inquire here after exhausting dead ends trying to find the best fit! Golden Living Centers of Petersburg, IN made special efforts to meet us, and even had a meal that was very good with the Administration. We felt very warm feeling right away, and I could tell they were all highly professional, and concerned about the care he would need. The staff are attentive to residents the same as they would take care of a close loved one. The management team is AWESOME!! They work hard at taking care of the residents as well as maintaining and making the facility a place of home for them. My brother-in-law needed 24 hour care, but wanted to be as independent as he could, and have some life instead of being stuck in a house all the time. He loves their activities and they have helped him feel more independent by giving him titles in the facility to make him feel important!! He had hardly been out of his room in years, and he goes all the time now. I am so happy with the administration there..cannot say enough good things!!! People think a brand new building is always the best..that is not the case..It shows great character in how they maintain, care, and work diligent on any issues that ever arise. Thank You Golden Living Centers for such high standards!!
