    My mother has been at Sayre over 6 years and recently moved to a unit that has more care. I can NOT say enough about how good my mom has been treated, how loved, how cared for, and how appreciated they have made her feel. The employees genuinely care. There is turn over...but I do not see how anyone can work with the aging and do it long term. Everyone has a limit and burnout is a part of any occupation that is physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging day in and day out. Have there been issues or conflicts? Yes...but this is life and everything has always been addressed and worked out with mom's best interest at hand. Please keep all the care givers in your prayers. They are Angels here among us. May God continue to give them peace, patience, and wisdom in caring for our elders.

    Relatively inexpensive elder care. Staff is generally very friendly and caring. Because of low pay, there is a lot of turn over for lower level staff.
