    My mother was admitted to the nursing last year for rehab after a stroke and other health problems. When she learned that she wouldn't be coming home again she made the best of her situation even when it' was obvious, as you can imagine, she was disappointed and scary and opening the door to the last seSons of her life. She was in the rehab side I. A private room. The nurses and aids were so good to her. It was kind of a breath of peace knowing she was ok with her situation. Then all of the sudden the man who handles the $$ told my sister they were going to have to move mom to a semi private room. He said it wouldn't be immediately. Well within 12 hours. The room was tiny and she and her room mate had to share a toilet with the two men in the room next to them. The level of care went down considerably. Mom hated being on that side. She came down with pneumonia and the nurse said "I just listened to her chest, she just has a common cold" well it was pneumonia and had to be put in the hospital and died a few days later. The nursing home owes mom's estate money for the time she paid for but she passed away before the month was up. Now Mr Brigitte britches keeps blowing my sister the POA off when she calls about the refund. He says things like, I'll call you tomorrow. Lies, lies, lies. I hope I never end up in a facility like this one because I'd rather walk in traffic than go to Maysville's nursing home. Shame on you Mr. It's obvious you care more about the $$ than your residents. I hope this lands on the ears of people who might be considering placing a loved one there. It is so sad to see those elderly people just waiting for their day to come to be called home. I would not re commend this place to anyone. #$$talks
