The nurses take out their aggressions on the patients when you file complaints about service from them. I'd look into other facilities prior to moving your loved one here.

The Staff is caring and thoughtful. They lessoned to our concerns and treated my father with dignity and respect. The facility is very well kept and clean.

My uncle is in this home and it has really gone down hill the last few months. What little food they get fed is nasty and the some of the staff is just down right disrespectful. They don't take good care of my uncle at all!!! He's wanting to find a new home because it's gotten so bad. One day this man tried to go get some coffee from the cafeteria and the ladies slammed the door in his face as he got to the door and then laughed in his face. These men and women caught for our country and I think they should be treated with the utmost respect!!!

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected

Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
