    My father recently required skilled nursing care for which I helped him find a suitable long-term care facility. I thought this would be a difficult transition from hospital to nursing home, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Upon my first visit to the Life Care Center of Acton (Massachusetts) I was impressed. The admissions and business offices were terrific to work with in getting my father admitted, and might I add that discharge from a hospital and admission to the nursing home happened the same day, only hours after my guided tour :-) The photos available online are true and showed even better in person. I am happy that I have made the decision to place my father in the care of the Life Care Center of Acton staff. The nursing home is very clean, kept up in decor, maintenance, and technology. The many activities offered daily are a wonderful way to engage and socialize the residents. Everyone here is caring, friendly, and professional towards the residents and family members.
