    This would be a zero star review if that were an option. My dad has advanced dementia and cannot speak or care for himself. I have been trying to advocate unsuccessfully for 9 months. My father has bed sores, dirty clothing, poor hygiene, overgrown finger and toe nails, and is losing weight even though they say he's eating. Well, he's NOT eating. Nor are many of the residents. My father will eat anything you give him. The issues is that there is no one to feed him. They think ensure shakes are the answer. No. Feed him food and he will eat it. I go at mealtime and feed him and he eats everything I give him. And I say that there is not enough staff to feed people because I feed his roommate when I'm there or he would not get a meal either. I see the plates of uneaten food that is collected and tossed. These folks need help. Plain and simple. This is because they are not staffed to deal with the needs of the patients. Dad is also wearing boots or a hand brace with no explanation. Or at dinner wearing a Johnny rather than clothes. Doctors and nurses won't bother to follow up with you. I could go on all day. This place is a bona fide hell hole, make no mistake. I'm doing everything I can to get him out of there. If you love someone, NEVER leave them there.
