I have a very good friend who has been staying here for rehab for the past month. Every time I have come here to visit my friend on the 2nd floor, the staff has been friendly & accommodating every time. Tonight a couple of the staff members whom I nicknamed " The Dream Team" Alvin & Carlos went above & beyond to help me out. Those are the kind of people that you remember & appreciate. Wingate is lucky to have them on their team!

Staff is rude, patients are all begging for help. The patients call the staff and are ignored for hours and hours. Place is filthy at best.

The nurses were excellent! There could be more fresh fruits and vegetables but overall great stay.

Our time and association with Chestnut Hill was limited but it was very positive with the Administrator and Weekend Supervisor. The weekend receptionist and SW was responsive. Thank you to all of you. It was hard for us but your staff made it very manageable for us.

This place has not been good at all my aunt at all. She recently had hip surgery and she has been constantly left without anything to help with her recovery. She has been without medication and without ice and not been helped with her exercising to get better. When asking the staff for things they often come with an attitude an hour later complaining about being the only one on the floor. I would never suggest this place to anyone. And definitely I would encourage anyone who is there or going there to find the doctor on staff or the person who is running the facility and call them and let them know what is going on. It is truly sad when people who need the most help are taken advantage of and disregarded and not helped. Especially when they are paying out of pocket because insurance only covers a certain amount.

Fines, Complaints, and Inspection Problems in the Past 3 Years

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
Wingate At Chestnut Hill has not received any fines, complaints, or inspection problems in the last 3 years.
