I am so grateful to all the staff at Brentwood. My brother had surgery requiring after care at rehab. He went to Brentwood, 7E. He was only there about 4 days. This was due to the quick thinking of the Nursing Staff. They realized he had developed a rather serious post-operative complication that led them to the decision to send him to the hospital "immediately" rather than keep a "watchful eye" on it for a bit. The surgeon was grateful that decision was made as "it could have been disastrous" had they waited. He is now recovering. The staff at Brentwood is quite a team of special people. They all share care, concern, and a willingness to listen to their residents. From Reception to Admissions to Housekeeping to Nursing they all go above and beyond. For this team it more than a paycheck. They are making differences in residents lives, as well as helping the families feel at ease and able to sleep knowing their loved ones are professionally cared for while providing a clean, welcoming environment while the resident is treated with the dignity and respect all wish to have. Thank you so very much to all of you!!!!!

Let me start by saying, no one likes to be in a nursing home, however, I consider myself blessed with the treatment and care i receive at Brentwood. Since my admission I have met some extraordinary people who have assisted me in my recovery and my ultimate goal of walking again. When I first got here, Leah the admissions director, made the transition easy and made me feel at home. She introduced me to the staff who have continued to provide me with great care since day one. I look forward to the day that I am discharged and plan to return Brentwood to express how much I appreciate the staff and everything they have done.

I have lived at the Brentwood for over a year. All the nurses are friendly and the facility is really clean. I enjoy participating in the events that the activities department offers and love the friends I have made during my time here. I highly recommend the Brentwood to anyone looking for placement.

I have worked closely with the Brentwood for over 3 years. I have witnessed staff work tirelessly to care for their patients and their families. When additional services are needed, Brentwood advocates for their patients to get them the support they need and make sure they are properly supported.

In the beginning I had a hard time adjusting to long term care. I was angry I couldnt be home with my family. Brentwood staff helped to make the adjustment easier, they are very kind and willing to go above and beyond. I have now been here for years and can confidently tell new pt's coming in that its "going to be okay" and to "hang in" because "no matter what its going to be all right." I recommend Brentwood to anyone needing long term care. I've personally been to other facilities and Brentwood surpasses them all.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
