As a former employee of Countryside Nursing Home, I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. Being a smaller, family-owned home ensures that residents receive personalized care and attention, which is not always true of larger facilities. I would highly recommend Countryside to anyone who wants their loved one to be cared for in an environment that feels like home.

"My Mom worked as a nurse and during her career had the opportunity to visit Countryside . She always told us "If I ever have to go to a nursing home, make sure it's Countryside. It's the best." As usual, Mom was right. Countryside is the best nursing home. It's small, homey and incredibly clean. And the people at Countryside are caring and warm. We were very lucky to get Mom into the place she wanted."

"I've been working at Countryside Nursing Home for 37 years. I love this place. We provide our residents with exceptional care and we treat everyone here like family. All of our staff works hard to ensure our ladies get plenty of personal attention. I also like the fact that its family owned." Lynn Power, RN

"I really like that fact that Countryside is small and family owned. It feels like a home, not an institution. I also like that it's all female. My mom feels safe there. The staff is very responsive and they give my mom lots of personal attention and affection. I can rest easy knowing my mom is getting great care."

I worked at Countryside Nursing Home for over four years and have many fond memories. I always enjoyed taking excellent care of the residents, especially alongside such a tallented team of care providers. Countryside is the perfect choice if you are looking for individualized care that feels like being at home with family.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
