What, can I say about this cute lovely place some 63+ elderly residents call home? I am proudly writing this review having worked here for over a year now! I love Poet Seat because the staff they hire are decently trained, Caring, Honest, Hard Working people! Most importantly, they love and welcome anyone through their doors! My experience working here has helped me learn from all the lovely residents that come to consider Poet Seat as home or just swinging by for a temporary stay! Either way you choose to join Poet seat, they will be there with kind and open arms! I unfortunately can't speak about others experience while they were at Poet Seat, but this has been my experience and I love working here/caring for all the residents who come here!

When I worked there, the management lied to suit thier fancy. Constantly worked short. Ran out of supplies all the time. Fruit flies and ants are rampant. If you were in the right clique, you could do just about anything and not be accountable. Unfortunately I did not. I even got written up aS a nc/ns for not going to the Christmas party! No appreciation ever!

Excellent care of my mom. 1 on 1 when needed at times. I was completely satified with her care.

I find the Staff to be accountable, caring and attentive to the needs of Residents and with this Family member.

I have a love one at Poet Seat. I would highly not have your love one to Poet Seat. No detail to patients needs and lack in employees that is probably why.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
