    My Nana has been living here for around a year or so. Someone from our family visits once a day so we are at the facility a lot. We've never had any major issues and my nana seems to be as happy as she can be (she misses her home but is unable to live by herself).

    My father was transferred to Masconomet from a local hospital on Friday afternoon. By the following Monday evening, he had not yet been showered and shaved. When I asked the staff about when he was scheduled to be showered and shaved, two staffers had to locate a binder and look up when his shower was scheduled. My father was sitting in a hallway nurse's station with other patients with a meal tray in front of him that consisted of a small, cold square of pizza, a sad looking garden salad, and a bowl of cold tomato soup, not touched. I attempted to shave my father myself once I wheeled him back to his room. He was too distraught and tired for me to do so, after having been in a hospital for a week, and so I called for someone to help him to bed. After a lengthy wait, an overburdened staffer put my father to bed in his clothes, not his pajamas, of which I had provided the staff with half dozen pair. It had been three days and my father had still not been given a substitute medication as per the very competent intake nurse's instruction. The building is lovely; the care I witnessed this evening was unacceptable. I will be actively seeking to transfer my father to a better facility immediately.

    this place is a good place to dump your loved ones if they have no money and are being supported by Medicare.. if your loved ones have money be prepared to pay 5 star prices and receive 2 star service
