    This place is horrible. Consistently understaffed, which provides an extremely dangerous environment for the patients. Multiple occasions where patients fall because of lack of staffing. The food is horrible, and pretty much the same thing every day. The management is all about covering up or sweeping situations under the rug. They put on a good front during the initial tours. Good luck sending your family here.

    Lorien Elkridge is a wonderful nursing and rehab facility with awesome employees who genuinely care about the residents. They truly are the best in what they do.

    We recently had a family member stay at this facility. While I can not find fault with the nursing staff. I was extremely disappointed with the medical staff and the physical and occupational staff. They call themselves a rehab facility, but the only rehab our family member was given was walking up and down the hall way. No work was done with transitioning from a wheel chair to car or how to safely maneuver from a sitting position to a standing position. This being said, within hours of being discharged our family member had to be taken by ambulance to a local hospital, having fallen from the car. This was exacerbated by weakness due to not getting the proper exercise and proper nutrition. The food is extremely poor. Diced carrots are served at every lunch and dinner meal. So be forewarned, when choosing a facility to care for your loved one

    My husband is a patient, I have been very impressed with everything from the minute I walked in the door. Staff is helpful and caring. Rooms are clean, food is appetizing, and other patients are out of room socializing and friendly. My husband was seen by the Physician's Assistant on admission, and Physical Therapist the next morning. I know he is in good hands and I have been able to sleep soundly for the first time in weeks.

    This place is HORRIBLE!!!! DON'T SEND YOUR LOVED ONES THERE!! The staff are inexperienced, they have poor bed side manners, the rooms are not suitable for elderly people, the wheel chairs don't even have foot rests, and the food is disgusting!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON 'T SEND YOUR FAMILY TO THIS PLACE!
