    This place is HORRIBLE!!!! If I could rate a zero I would. I wouldn't bring a stray dog here let alone another family member!! The nursing staff and director of nursing have no real concern for the patients... they leave the on call bells/ IV machines ringing for hours!! I had my mom there to receive antibiotics thru a PIC line for a toe wound and wouldn't you know they let the wound fill up with dead tissue causing her to need additional surgery for debribment!!! She was neither referred or sent to wound care for treatment!! And the only answer Brandy (Director of Nursing) could say was... " we were following the order of the Dr to clean daily!!! But when does "common sense" come into play as a Nurse!!! When you see a wound building up with dead tissue do you not have the morality to contact her surgeon... just as the home health nurse did! I will be making an official complaint to the Board of Nursing Home along with the State of Maryland.. they are soaking up the Medicare/Medicaid of the elderly and not giving them the care they need!!! Ravenwood Nursing Home in Hagerstown Maryland needs to be SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!!!

    This place is the most horrible place to put anyone they leave the patient fall on the floor and leave them with out help I have my husband in here and I'm sorry that I made this choice he is only here for therapy but that's all they don't care about there patient here don't ever send your family here.

    HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE! turn over is horrible percentage, the residents are not taken care of properly because the CNA`s have too many residents per GNA because of the turnover. I worked here for 2 months and instantly quit due to the lack of assistants from nurses who just sit a nurses station and document paperwork while call bells are ringing. I would not recommend anyone to bring their loved ones/family memebers here.
