    I'm a current resident at Oakview every thing is hurry up and wait. I've been here less than a week wanted to take some kind of shower but the shower look like horse stalls. The staff isn't helpful, this morning my IV was connected at 630am started to alarm at 645ish no one came till 730ish. Then with a attitude because I said I needed to go to the bathroom. My IV was reconnected at 845. No privacy, no respect The best part about here is therapy team they are awesome if you or your family member can take the disrespect being ignored and lack of any compassion come here.

    As soon as you walk in the place , it smells like urine everywhere. I'm not sure if the ventilation system is working or they don't clean that place. We mention this to the caregiver, so we will see what happens.

    Big shout out to the rehab staff these women are the best. They know there job they got back on my feet walking again after surgery . I highly recommend this staff.

    I spent considerable time here as a patient, as well as other places. Oakview is a nightmare, a nightmare. Except for the administrative offices, the facility is old and tattered. The food is institutional. The staff is overworked and uncaring. If you want something and ring your call bell, the person who responds is likely to inform you that what you need is not within their job description and they will send the correct person to help you. Often that "correct" person never arrives. At night, the staff would knowingly allow me to sit in my own feces for up to 8 hours. They would not help me eat, although I needed help and was designated as needing help. There were disoriented patients wandering around the unit yelling and having loud arguments in the hallway, and wandering randomly in and out of my room. The occupational and physical therapy is abysmal. My physical condition got worse, not better, at Oakview. My wife eventually checked me out of Oakview and just took me home, where I did much better. Do not put your loved one in this place.
