    I believe they violated the FHA (FAIR HOUSING ACT) and the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) in considering my mother for admission. Misleading admissions. Gets info from doctor, leads you on to think everything is ok, then says that your senior citizen parent has too many memory problems for their staff. They're equipped for this! I very much suspect housing discrimination in their intake and interview process. Don't send anyone here, because if you have a senior in your family with needs (like all seniors do) they can't professionally accommodate. Especially when they tell you they can, and have great staff, and therapists, memory therapists, and behavioral therapists on staff. What are they there for if they can't take patients with needs? Absurd! HORRIBLE.

    The Willows is where I would like to stay - whatever my circumstance. Whenever I walked in to visit a dear friend, every staff member was cheerful & (if I may) perky. The atmosphere is welcoming, calm & loving. Anytime I needed help the same applied. Lots of amenities to help you feel at home.

    Unfortunately, The Willows of E. Lansing is understaffed on the weekends. The rehab patients do not get physical therapy or any therapy on Saturdays and Sundays. They are in REHAB and need their therapy EVERY DAY! Also, there are not enough people to serve food on weekends. The patients often sit and wait for thirty minutes to an hour to get served. My father's health has suffered from the lack of adequate staff on weekends.
