    I would not give this place a 1 star. Have no choice, just as I did as a former employee. Very unprofessional! Management could care less about the CNA. Filthy, under staffed,residents do not get the care they need. Administrator is very bias! Do NOT take your loved one to Okemos! !!!

    This the best place in Okemos for Rehabilitation or Long term care. The facility itself is beautiful. Always kept very clean and organized. The staff are very supportive, thoughtful and reliable. Our therapy team reassures our residents to do the best they can and love seeing them reach their goals. All staff works together as a team which makes procedures run smoothly.

    I was there two different times, once for three weeks after hip surgery and again for six weeks after lower spine and hip repair surgery. I had such a wonderful experience both times and would definitely recommend it to anyone needing rehab after surgery! The staff was wonderful and the nurses were so caring and friendly, and I felt when I left that I was leaving family behind. The Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy departments were excellent and my two therapists really worked me and pushed me to the point of exhaustion, which was what I really needed...in fact, i felt so good with the results from PT that when it was time for me to go home, I chose to continue with six weeks of Outpatient PT there, just so I could continue with my same therapist! I've planned to go back and visit everyone and perhaps to volunteer if I can be of use somewhere as soon as I can get around better...and it will absolutely be my rehab facility of choice if I ever need it again!

    BEST therapy in the area. The therapy staff was patient with my questions and help me get home fast. Hands down will return if the need arises again!
