    I have had the pleasure of working at this facility for nearly two years. I have grown to love both our residents and my coworkers alike. Sure, we are smaller than some of the other facilities in town, but not in heart! What we lack in opulence, we make up in compassion. The team of hard working professionals that I proudly call Tendercare Traverse City's staff is who our residents lovingly call family. Our small, comfortable building tucked in to a quiet little corner of beautiful Traverse City is where they call home. We love what we do, and whom we serve.

    It is all about the money. They lost residents due to lack of care or understanding from CNAs, some nurse's and office staff like Administrator and DON, also Activities. Call lights ring for 20 minutes or more before someone checks on the resident. While they socialize with other staff and talk badly about the residents, someone could need serious medical attention. Mold all over and all they do is keep covering it up. Bad ant problem through the building for years. Rooms need remodeling and see fecies on bathroom walls. Residents stealing from other residents that shouldn't happen if there is staff everywhere. Staff goes in and takes residents stuff all the time, even worse when someone passes away. Unless you don't care for your family members, you should take keep them home or try a larger/nicer facility for them. I'm sorry for all who had to go through any issues due to the lack of care in these healthcare facilities.
