Not even worth 1 star. Wouldn't put my dieing dog in this place. Terrible staff. Residents spat, hit and cuss at other residents. Meanwhile staff treat them like caged animals... stinks... the list is long!

Where do I begin? Wish I could give this place zero stars,in the 6 years I've visited its ALWAYS smelled piss poor, much like the disservice to the residents, they are yelled at,picked on,and mocked all day everyday, residents keeping their belongings/clothes in their possession is Ill to none, its either stolen by staff or other residents. The doctors/nursing is even a bigger joke,I got nothing but the run around when asking about a loved ones condition/status of medication/other needs,DO NOT bring your loved ones here,as long as they can keep sucking money from the state of Missouri, they will continue to care very little to none about about being evaluated annually and therefore have little to no chance of being transferred/going home. May god have mercy on your soul!

Please do not bring your loved one here. Save their hard earned social security and find another location much nicer location. My grandfather had everything stolen from him constantly. It is stinky and the help is minimal.

Not good.I would not put my dog here.Smells dirty very very old and shows it. To many people not enough help...and even then it's not good. ...

NOT a place I would put my family member. I worked here for about three months. The nurses laugh at the residents, yells at them and calls them annoying right in front of them. The dietary staff rarely uses gloves and only does things the way state wants them to a few weeks before they show up. Trayers are constantly having to lie to residents and say they'll ask the cook to make the something but the cooks never do. Residents are screamed at to get out of the kitchen, openly made fun of and generally treated as a burden. I cried with one of the resident when I left, but the staff are more worried about thaking care of their own asses and taking care of their fa orite staff members than showing loyalty to staff who work for ghem when eveyrone else has left.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
