This is such a wonderful place to work. We do many fun activities that include both of our residents and employees. This picture is from our pie in the face day. Employees could donate $ to throw a pie in the face to raise money for our Resident Activities. Both residents and employees threw pies.

JKVE/MCC is an excellent place to work. I have worked for this facility off and on for the past 8 years and couldn't have picked a better place to come back to. They offer many different employment opportunities. They have an excellent scholarship program as well. They recognize the hard work and dedication put in by all of their employees. JKVE/MCC strives to provide the best quality of care to the residents we serve. It's nothing out of the ordinary to see administrative staff there after hours helping to get things accomplished. Everyone plays a huge role in the production of this facility and I am so happy to be a part if this community. I appreciate all of everyone's hard work and dedication to providing quality care.

Terrible place to work, they like to take 12 smoke breaks and they allow their employees to come to work and just be there while the agency ppl are worked like slaves. I wud give it a zero but there are about 2/3 employees that are worth keeping, the rest need to be let the hell go....PERIOD!!!!

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
