    I was at The Oaks following a stroke for rehab. I thought the food service . was exceptionally good. I was not bed-ridden so I could use the facilitiesand needed no CNA help, but if I could have stayed longer I would have.

    If I could give you people 0 stars I most definitely would. My grandmother had a knee replacement a few weeks back. She had to go to y'all just because Emerald Ridge didn't have any empty beds. You people are treating her two daughters ( My momma and my aunt) with the most disrespect I have seen and/or heard of. My grandmother had to have a x Ray done an it was scheduled for about in the early afternoon sometime last week. It still wasn't done at about 6 in the evening so my mother called y'all to get some info. Y'all were bein short with her but she finally got what she needed. She had to call y'all back a few minutes for some reason and somebody picked up the phone and then dropped it. They wouldn't even talk to her. Another complaint : apparently 2 of y'alls nurses put my aunt on some list saying that she wants to shoot people?? Really?? Oh my gosh. Quit your immature crap. Grow up. I understand that you may be stressed at your job or your having a bad day but please do not take it out on other people by talking down to them or disrespecting them. My momma is a LPN so she's understands this crap just as much as the rest of you do. I've heard nothing but bad crap about y'all and I'm sure as heck starting to believe it. But hey! Not all of us are lucky enough to like our job we have as well as some people will never know what respect is.

    This is a terrible place to be if you can't walk. Which is likely because it's a care facility. My mother in law was left in a Bed for an hour and a half after she wet the bed. No one answered her call button for her. When we came to visit she needed help with her dialysis port and we went to find some staff to help and there is almost no one around to talk to. I fear for my mother in law's life and safety here. We were eventually told it's because she's on the 500 hall which isn't visited by the staff as frequently.
