    DONT WORK HERE!. I was here 2014-2017. It used to be nice.. before the old DON Amy got fired. Before they changed the care model to have Social Workers over nursing and CNA staff. And before Valarie Jarvis became the DON! She had harassed me since I was pregnant last year! She fired me this year after y maternity leave. i only worked 1.5 months. Then I got hired through an agency and went back to work there.. And her and Paula Lane who does staffing were VERY Nasty towards me.. harassing and rude. they discriminated against me! I am not the only one. So many people have left.. and since Valarie Jarvis came the whole place is going down... She never knew the Carol Woods Way anyway. #misstheresidents #knowbeforeyougo #experiencedRN #RDU #DONTGO #iloveCWnot the management

    Had a very pleasant long visit with an elderly uncle. The apartments are well laid out, good sizes and have good bathing facilities for the unsteady hands.

    I love it. My mom and stepdad moved there last year. They are active, intelligent, but definitely slowing down. The cafeteria has amazing food. I'm kind of vegan, so the primary wonders are out of my realm, but there is plenty of abundance. The facility offers concerts, has art, lovely sitting rooms - interesting movies with a large screen. I sometimes join my folks. No charge. Walking the grounds is beautiful. The place is convenient. It's pretty gorgeous also. :) Okay, one last thing - after the Supreme Court up decision on gay marriage, the whole facility had a champagne celebration. I'm just sayin'... :D
