    My mother started 6 years ago on the locked Altimetzs ward where the staff took the best care of her needs at the time. A few years latter she was moved to the open ward where they have continued her care. The staff here are like family and communicate with me often. They are very sweet to my mother and love her like extended family. In the 6 years my mom has been here she has never been found soiled or left in a position I felt her safety or care has been comprised. She has been bed bound for the last 2.5 years and she has never had a skin breakdown. I have read the other comments that say negative things but I have never seen or experienced any negative things that are mentioned. This faculty might not look like much from the outside but the personal care and attention for my mother and communication with me on her care has spoke volumes. They have long term staff here some 20 years they don't have a high employee turnover and I never have a problem getting an answere when I visit. Please don't judge a book by its cover this place needs 10 starts. Last I sit here as my mother is rounding her final days sitting here in Bethesda and the love and support to show mom comfort has been a blessing to me. She will pass with family all around her and that's the way care should be in a facility!

    Staff shouting threats and "shut up!" to patients in need greeted me as I entered the facility and nothing but worse happened on my visit. I'm appalled and urge all with an interest to stop in and have a look and listen. Will be contacting every possible outlet to intervene on behalf of the residents and visitors. AWFUL!

    This place is already being investigated by the state health department and you're getting a few more complaints very soon. Yelling at patients when they're uncomfortable is unacceptable and not hooking up oxygen masks correctly is unacceptable. Sleeping on the job in an empty room is not acceptable.

    I visit a family. Am been to others in the past. None have enough help. This one has been ok for our family member. She has been here about 3 years.
