    WARNING! Stay away from here. This place is horrid do not send anyone you care for or love to this facility. Not even your enemies deserve this bad a treatment. They have a direct that is a horrible human and he has hired staff that is as bad as himself. DO NOT SEND ANYONE HERE! They are thieves as well and you will get robbed blind!

    A few of these residents that I have spoken with have good things to say about their care however, when it comes time to go smoke, the staff " or rather as one staff member said, the one responsible " is busy so they will just have to wait. There are a couple sitting around and talking but said it's not their place to take them out. I personally think the staff could do a little better with respecting the wishes of residence who some have but just the relaxing moment outside smoking a cigarette to look forward to. I waited with the residents that wanted to smoke 12 minutes past the time scheduled to go before I approached the staff and about this.

    My father's best friend was sent here for rehab after a fall. We found out during his stay that he also had stage 4 Cancer. The team at Gateway was AMAZING with him. When he went in, I doubted that we would see him come out alive...but he came out alive, vibrant and ready to fight this head on! He was barely mobile when he arrived there, and left running circles around my father, who is 13 years his junior! I HIGHLY recommend this facility...and this is coming from a skeptical CNA who had heard nothing but bad about the facility...ALL of which was debunked during his stay there!

    Not a good place to put your love one here at all. They don't get taken care of much at all. If you want them taken care of you have to do it your self. The staff is more into making the place look good instead of care for the people there. And some of the nurse's there likes to play with the patients meds. Do not put your love one here. Wish we never did.
