Laundry is never done Left laying in beds with no attention Was discharged and they didn't even take the cathater out before sending her back to assisted living Very disorganized ask anyone a question and no one could give an answer or knew what was going on

My father was here for 22 days on Rehab from a hospital visit. He is a VERY picky man has not been happy at any other place except Pruitt. Staff was friendly, always attentive to his needs. Food was good but he is a big man and always wanted more. We were sorry to have to go as he was really progressing in his rehab but unfortunately was out of medicare days. Highly recommend

I wish I could rate Pruitt Union Pointe differently. The only reason why I give it one star is because of Jonathan Thomas. He should not have that type of job. Or any job for that matter that deals with the public. He is unprofessional and mean. He doesn't know how to approach people and he can't handle any stress. Almost everyone that works their are wonderful caring kind hearted smart people, why they are putting up with him is beyond me except they need their jobs and don't want to lose it. Jonathan doesn't care about the Patients, their families or his employees. The employees, several of them told me corporate was coming for a visit and that I should mention some stuff to them. I truly wish things were different there because it could definitely be a wonderful place to Live and for Nursing and Rehabilitation if it had the correct leadership. I'm still waiting for a call back from corporate to speak to them regarding my experience there. Don't bring a family member to Pruitt until changes are made.

Staff will steal money from the elderly and not call the ambulance when your grandmother is dying. Nice place but non compassionate people. It was always a ghost town when I would visit and never swen any staff. My grandmother medications were lying on the floor several times as well. The lead nurse named Joey is a jerk. I would recommend this place if it was the last place on earth. I'm reporting them to Medicare as well!

My aunt was here and I found her in the same clothes for several days. She was not able to dress herself and required assistance that she did not get, yet paid for. Other people complained about dirty linen. One woman left her relatives urine soaked clothing on the desk of the administrator because she was so frustrated with trying to get staff to address laundry services that weren't being managed. The call buttons for assistance are a joke. There is no intercom into the room. Some of the staff are very good and some are not. They are continually understaffed and administration works banker hours. You won't ever see anyone in charge on a weekend, night, or holiday. They have a hotline to call and you can expect a reply in a week. Beautiful facility, but less than optimal care. Pruitt started their business as hospice. People don't usually recover in hospice. Check your bill for added charges or services that were not agreed upon. Do not sign the paper where you agree to arbitration instead of legal counsel. Make no mistake, profit is the bottom line.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
