    If your looking for a good safe place for your loved ones, this is not the place. I would check out different facility's. This is more of a cash cow then anything else. If your looking for substandard treatment, inadequate monitoring, delays or the failure to provide needed care you will get plenty of that here. This facility does meet the requirements to accept Medicaid and Medicare however they do just the bare minimum in order to be eligible.

    I went in this when I was in 3rd grade and had the best year of my entire school life! my teacher was Ms. Salen, and she was the best teacher I could ever had, But now i am in 8th grade at Arapahoe Charter School and having good grades

    We got mom out quickly. My mom was a dementia resident we moved there when we first moved into the area and our assumption was that the unit's high rating meant more than what we saw when we arrived. No one seemed particularly concerned about helping mom get inside. We would curl mom's hair for her and the next morning an aide had combed it straight back with a wet comb...she looked like a homeless waif instead of someone who was paying to stay there. One afternoon at 2:30 we found my mom still in bed with her night clothes on. We were told that the aide thought her pj's were a dress. Her hair was a mess. The halls, cafeteria and slamming doors were loud. I could go on, but even in final stages of Alzheimer's my mom knew it wasn't good. She was distinctly unhappy, which tended to match most of the staff we had to deal with. It's an outdated facility and other than one aide named Taylor and an activity director, it was a discouraging experience. If no one smiles in a care plan meeting, you should ask yourself why.
