I can't speak for every staff member there but there was one employee in particular that was rude to my grandmother and also put her in to shock from low blood sugar. My grandma had issues with her leg after a mini stroke so the hospital transferred her there for rehab. She is capable of using the restroom but needs assistance getting in and out of bed etc while she is regaining the use of her right leg. A staff member ignored my gmas calls to the nurses station to be taken to the restroom for over an hour finally my GMA couldn't hold it and messed up on herself and called the nurses station agaib finally the lady came to the room and my grandma asked to be cleaned up the nurse told her she would be fine.bc she was wearing a diaper and the proceeded to give her an insulin shot for no reason and expected grandma to go to sleep with messed up pants etc well thank God my GMA called 911 and got out of there bc her sugar was down to 50 ...this place offered her a dinner out and flowers and apology after the ordeal but my grandma declined bc she was so disgusted with the way she was treated

They don't care about the safety of the patients, I know from experience, I was attacked by one of the patients and they didn't do a thing about it so I checked myself out so I wouldn't recommend them to anyone

You have staff that really care. and then those who don't. They change to much for what you get. Patiences steal from the rooms.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
