    I entered the door and everyone there was so helpful and say, Hello and Goodmorning. Because, I was there in the morning when I can in. Also the atmosphere was amazing and everyone seemed happy to work and even the residents felt comfortable in there own home. It was pleasant.

    I came to Montclair to volunteer an art display. I entered the front door during the evening supper meal, and was impressed. The residents seemed like they were sitting in a restaurant. The atmosphere was nice, and everyone was dining to a relaxing piano accompaniment. Residents were in the company of an attentive nursing staff and seemed happy and content.

    The staff and nursing was nice. The care of the facility is lacking big time. Very unsanitized. The cleaning of wheel chairs and equipment aweful.

    My Father fell and broke his neck at Montclair, because of short staff. They, then put him back in bed and just left him. That is how I found him a couple of hours later, with a bump, the size of a baseball on his head. I had him taken to the hospital, where he passed away, a few weeks later. We filled suit against Montclair, only to find that they had filled for bankruptcy. I see that they are still going. Avoid this place, like your loved one's lives depend on it....They do.
