Willow Springs has been an answer to a prayer. Both my mother and step father had to be placed in a nursing home. After many many months of searching we found Willow Springs. As everyone knows, it is not an easy decision to make. The staff is excellent. Always helpful and nice. The place is immaculate. Even the gentleman from the Veterans Administration was impressed with how clean everything was. My mother is not a good eater and they always try to find things that she likes to eat. I watch while the dining staff goes around and makes sure everyone has what they want to eat and if not they go and get them something else. My sister and myself visit at all different times and different days. Everything is always just as clean and everyone is always just as nice. I will and do recommend this place to anyone who is in need of a nursing home.

The facility looks attractive, the director is accomodating, the therapists and social workers are professional but we had a lot of concerns with other staff. Communication, aide help, attitudes, basic needs all need attention and improvement. Therapy could have been more often.

this place is very nice looking and most of its staff are very nice, BUT THAT'S IT. this place seems to be very short staffed, most employees you can here how displeased they are with ownership and management . they ran out of adult diapers the other day , did not have proper equipment for a large person . can't get my mom out of there quick enough. also screwwed up 2 ti.es with transporting my mom to doctor visits and had to postpone . this place is not good. have been there when other patients and their family members have complained. One of the best Nurses quit last week she could not take it anymore.

My grandmother has been In this facility for over 3 months , it's a very clean newly renovated facility it brings a great atmosphere to all .. the nurses are very caring and hands on with their patients, at times thy might not be able to get their in a jiffy but a certified aid is always checking on patients while the nurses do the best thy can with others w / a variety of patients with diff needs ,thy are always very accommodating to all who enter even the visitors visiting their loved ones , they mke you feel at home while always trying to keep their patients smiling n happy n most of all comfortable !! Therefore after tryin 3 prior facilities which were nightmares , Willow Springs of Brick Nj , is by far a great place .. they make u feel comfortable leaving your loved one in their care which is a great feeling when leaving them for the night knowing thy r in great hands !! Highly recommended... not many around I can say this about after trying 3 for my grandmother!! ???

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
