My adult son has been a resident in this facility for a little over a month now. I cannot praise all of the staff enough. I have had dealings with every department in many different matters and everyone has been overwhelmingly kind and quickly accommodating. My son has received excellent care. They truly go above and beyond. I would recommend this facility for your loved one.

This is a good practices care facility. The staff is professional and friendly. It is important to understand that providing care for many of the patients is extremely difficult. They all feel they deserve better because many (most) are formerly outcast folks or misunderstood and/or troubled veterans. I am grateful for the people who work and run this facility. I am especially grateful for the veterans living here who are forgotten. We all need to remember them and better understand their condition. God help us all!! Joe Keating, friend of MRN.

If zero stars were to be an option, they would receive it. This place overworks their workers, tries to cut or deny pay, and mistreats their residents. Let's see how many have died due to unkempt infected bed sores from not being rotated... too many to list. Oh what about the one resident who just walked out with nobody watching?!? This place needs to be condemned. It's nasty, they have the nurses shooting up dope. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE.

The Director is a jealous Big Neck swollen foot Unprofessional little shoe wearing Yogi the bear ? looking Female. She picks with the staff & speaks to you any kind of way. Her man is the director of House Keeping was at the time of my employment & slept with all his employees behind that Big Whales back. She forged POA paperwork & is the POA for residents there who don't have family. She signs off on the timesheets, under paying & refusing to pay for overtime I know I last met with her in court I won 5K for unpaid wages ???? She's a liar. All she cares about is herself & Which insurance company is paying for the residents stay. She hires ppl who sales drugs right in the facility & Never addresses The COMPANYS REAL PROBLEMS, She doesn't want to see anyone get anything from Mr.Konig who isn't a great person himself but pretends like hell he has a heart for you While you are beneficial to His company They need to shut that place down Lock Catherine Up the rest of her life & Allow those patients to go into another facility where they would be shown love ? Cause MANAHAWKIN NURSING & REHAB IS A JOKE They will fire the good employees but keep the ones who are caught giving head to the residents smh I can say so much But the hell with That place

I worked here back in 2004 for a little bit. You are overworked, not sufficient supplies or lack there of. I had to go to the hospital due to me getting injured. They ripped up my accident report denied the whole incident and never paid the bill. I got stuck w it on my credit report. This facility is deplorable.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
