No complaints other than the parking lot is way to small - even at noon you'll have to circle the parking lot hoping you'll catch someone pulling out of a spot

This place was absolutely awful. I gave it a chance after having one bad experience at another sub acute rehab but this was by far the worst. If it wasn't because my sister was literally there 24 hours with my mother and spent the night we wouldn't have known how this place operates. They would not check on my mother throughout the night, mind you she's a stroke patient with a feeding tube and other complications and the lack of attention from the staff and aides is truly unbelievable. I voiced my concerns and was told it would be addressed but no luck. Nothing changed and I was forced to take her out of the facility after a week. Maybe patients on the 2nd floor get better care but the 3rd floor is a disaster. We would ring the call bell for assistance and no one would come to the room for 3 hours to check and see what we needed. A patient passed away 2 days ago at the facility and the one who noticed he wasn't breathing was the cleaning person at 6:00 in the morning, most likely happened because no one checked on him throughout the night as well. Save your loved one the heartache and don't send them there.

The impression I got from visiting a patient at his Alaris is that it's a very clean facility and the staff is really friendly. There is even valet parking!

From my mother's most recent visit the staff has been attentive and caring, remembering her from past visits the staff are able to give her more personalized care. This is extremely important in her rehab efforts by knowing that she is being cared for not by strangers but people who care.

My husband was admitted to the Chateau in Rochelle Park NJ last night. They were quick to admit him.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
