This place is totally disgusting and how the state has not shut them down is BEYOND ME!! They have to be paying someone off...my boyfriend is in there bc of an amputation to his leg and I CRINGE everytime I walk thru that damn door!! The food is gross....they barely give their residents any water....takes them over an hour to answer a call bell.....they have water leaking thru the roof when it rains...mold inside their windows....my boyfriend even had water fall on him in the middle of the night next to a damn light socket....ive made so many complaints against this place and the state has only showed up once!! Do NOT allow your family members to go to this hell hole....u will never forgive urself!!

The staff here took excellent care of our father during his final stage of dementia. They showed sincere empathy to our family and kept Dad comfortable in his final days. Note to owners-surroundings could be improved, but staff showed real caring hearts.

Terrible! Administration don't care for the residents or staff needs always working below staffing needs. Firing a person for a no call no show for a legal reason but will never fire a person for resident abuse or neglect. this Place is horrible!! terrible odor and there are times where there isn't hot water for days so residents will not get washed - it needs to get shut down residents are neglected and nothing is being done

My mother unfortunately needs 24 hour care,so she had to go into a home and Elant seemed like a nice place, although no place is perfect, she said the young people on the night staff are lazy and loud, they ignore her for awhile and also, the food is ridiculous, very sloppy and mushy,I have witnessed that, they must have hired chef boyardee to cook.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
