My Dad was there for 8 years. The place has undergone many changes throughout that time. New owners, staff, entertainment etc. Some issues were worse that others but you have to be aware of EVERYTHING. The only thing i can say is you get the care you demand. He had excellent care and a caring staff as long as we, as a family, were there and held everyone accountable from custodial staff to doctors. His every need was met and was always treated with respect and first class care. When he passed on the staff could not be more caring and respectful. Some were like family. As i said, you only get what you demand and we did and were glad for it.

My father in law is currently in this facility. From the moment we walked in you can tell they just did not care in regards to the patients. The home itself is filthy. We came in with the EMT being he has stage 4 lung cancer.. they informed the EMT in front of our faces that they where not expecting him.. meanwhile we filled out all the paperwork for him to stay here. Following them not expecting him.. they told the EMT "Well we cant do anything now, just put him somewhere". Again, this is all taking place in front of our faces.. so imagine when we are not around. From security, to reception, to the nursing staff.. they have no love towards anyone. They all have a straight face and pass along situations to each other to get out of helping the patients. We are hurt with this treatment and are currently finding him another home. His room had no AC.. and it is already hard for him to breath. DO NOT send the ones you love here! Please!

Horrible place, never again would I put anyone I love into this place. I would give this place a 0 star if I could. Staff does not care and it shows. Left my loved one in feces for a long time, never checked his oxygen level. I had to tell them to check it. How many time did I go there and his oxygen was low. Not to mention, everything else I witnessed that just wants to make you cry. I can't believe a place like this can still be open. This place seriously needs to shut down but you know what - there is a GOD that witnesses everything.

This Place In No Way even deserves a 1 star rating. This place is so horrible that I am actually Hoping that The Loved one That I have here passes away so that they no Longer Have to deal with This "Hell On Earth Nursing Home". I have to try to not be to specific in describing the things I have witnessed here for fear of them retaliating and treating My Loved one worse. It is almost Impossible to even have my Loved one transfered to a different Home. You have to Go through Hell and back to accomplish this. Like 95 percent of the Staff is Uncaring and Rude. One day I went Up To a few of Them who were talking in a group and ask them For assistance with my family member. They all looked at me like they wanted to throw me out of one of the windows. The Majority of the staff is so Nasty That I actually avoid as much as I can to ask them for anything. On one situation when I was visiting I overheard a commotion in the hallway where a Young CNA was telling an elderly woman not to go in someone else's room.Next thing I hear The Elderly woman screaming and yelling that the CNA hurt her in some way.Like about a minute Later I heard the CNA Refer to The elderly woman as an Effin Old B____. My Family Member has actually had to sit for Hours without being changed and us having to deal with the Foul Foul stench of Urine What I don't understand is Why in the world do these workers go into A field they Obviously hate? I myself prefer to die than to live in a place like this. Any Reviews on Here Praising this Place are Either people related to employees there or fake ones. Thank God That the True Negative Ratings of this Hell Hole Outnumber Those other Morons.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
