    My great grandmother has been in this nursing home for over 10 years. The staff here has always been a cause for concern within our family but my great grandmother is comfortable there and prefers to put up with the negatives because of that. Tonight, the woman next door to my great grandmothers room was screaming for help for 15 minutes when my grandmother ( who was there visiting ) went next door herself to make sure everything was okay. My grandmother found the woman, who had fallen, face-first on the floor. My grandmother rang for the nurses help and tried to help the woman up. The nurses never responded to the page and when they finally did come, they refused to pick the woman up off of the floor for 40 minutes.

    This place is immaculate and there are a lot of caring workers. However, they are short handed and the patients do not get the care they deserve. We recently went to visit my grandmother and found her arm bruised and swollen, no one could give us an explanation on what happened. They said they would get a supervisor to speak to us and the supervisor never came, after us being there for 5 hours. It was not until about 6 phone calls later, that I got a response and an investigation had to be opened as everyone claimed they didn't know what happened. What was strange was a few days prior to that, we got a call that grandma was complaining about pain in her right arm and they were going to take an x-ray, so this definitely is a cover up of something that happened. This is a place you have to be on top of. We have noticed that if the staff sees family or friends do not visit often, they will neglect those patients more. Also, don't rely on the laundry service, as the clothes will go missing.

    The staff there are very caring bu its a shame they are treated poorly being held there when others dont show up to work against their will woeking two shifts with no break etc this place should be shut down because of their bullshit .i will be contacting dept of labor real soon
