This place is a nightmare. Constantly having to remind them of basic necessities my mother needs. There is absolutely no communication at all. They continue to miss meds and bring her the wrong food. Needs puree and they shove full meal at her. The staff and administrators are very nasty and they do not follow up on concerns. Time to follow up with the State!

An absolute nightmare. Incompetent staff. No internal communication among the people that work there. They had my grandmother unlawfully sign her own discharge paperwork after she was declared incompetent. Go anywhere else if you can.

Garbage place, everything everyone has to say with a bad review is correct to the max. You guys couldn't be more right, it's hard when you're 24 & have to do it all by yourself and they tell you your mother doesn't have good insurance for anywhere else complete ? I recommend for everyone to stay in touch with the Ombudsmen and Dept of Health (also don't reply to me Aurora Park, I couldn't care less about your feedback)

Dangerously unorganized. Very friendly staff, but no organization. We waited nearly two hours to get nurses in here because the shifts were changing and the teams were organized??

My dad has been in the facility for about 2 years now and the care and compassion that so many of the staff show to him and to my mom is heart warming. They have gotten to know and truly love him. He needs the constant afternoon and care at this point in his life and we're all grateful that he's in Aurora Park.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
