    I have been working at Iroquois Nursing Home for over a year now. My experiences, have all been positive. Residents' families frequently send letters to staff thanking them, for the good care their family member received. I want to write a review, because there are so many employees working here who are happy, and have worked at Iroquois for many years. Iroquois is very employee friendly, and offers us many benefits. Building relationships with residents is our strongest point. When I have questions, or need someone to talk with, there is another co-worker, who is always available to help. I just feel that all the good things that Iroquois offers the area, is a well kept secret, and should be known.

    We chose Iroquois because it seemed to be top notch compared to the others.....It was the best decision we could have ever made. Dad stayed at Iroquois after his heart condition and mom was there after her surgery. The entire staff, including the nurse's assistants cared for my parents as if they were one of their family members. The dietary staff, social workers and therapy departments are equally as fantastic. Dad had an exceptionally complex medication schedule, and the staff did a great job managing him medically. Although mom & dad didn't participate in all of the activities they offer, their resident activities schedule is second to none. Walking into the main entrance feels like walking into a new hotel and not a nursing home. The lobby, reception and gift shop area is bright and beautiful. We always say that Iroquois doesn't feel like a nursing home, it feels like a community! Our local community is truly blessed to have such a great facility with such caring staff.

    My wife who has dementia is adjusting well to living at Iroquois. The caregivers are so nice and she has already made some friends. They have good food and the place is very clean. I am very pleased with this facility.

    I have worked at Iroquois for 10 years and this is a great place to work. I started in the kitchen, and then Iroquois trained and certified me to become a CNA. It's hard work but all the staff at Iroquois works hard with you. The staff here is like my second family. The facility is a very busy place but the residents get the best care. I am always proud to say I work at Iroquois because it is such a clean, well run facility. The facility also takes great care of their employees, they worked tirelessly to help me get my grandmother transferred from another terribly run facility. My grandmother lived in a smelly, dirty, cramped nursing home where they left her unattended for hours. She was depressed and unhappy until she moved into Iroquois. She loved it at Iroquois and our family was so relieved to have her in such a caring, clean, and bright facility. Grandma lived at Iroquois for 2 years till her passing. Even during her last days, the staff couldn't have been more compassionate with her and our family.

    I have worked here for 3 months and I find the staff very friendly and caring. They seem to work together well for the common goal of making sure the residents are well cared for and are happy. The facility is clean and has a welcoming atmosphere.
