Blood work fail to freeze save package process test n do what was ordered for my friend. Though they would be better or equil to quest, go to quest people! No one wants to waste time going more than once esp if need be a ride time blood taken more than once results so you can do more to get well n not want to do again.

Couldn't have had a better experience. The staff in the check-in department and the surgery unit were amazing for the second time! The whole reason I went back is because the service was so great the first time. Staff is ALWAYS so friendly, caring and professional. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Drove 50 minutes to this hospital rather than my own local hospital. Hats off to them.

To begin, I wouldn't go here if I had a paper cut or a hang nail. One of my employees was stung by a bee in the morning while working. After a few hours, it was slightly red and itchy. The crew leader proceeded to take him to the local clinic just to get checked out. The clinic advised him he should go to the emergency room since they were closing. A couple weeks later, I receive a bill in the mail for $1,306.03. In the bill, it described the services provided which was a 50mg injection of diphenhydramine (Benadryl). What a joke Medina Hospital is and no wonder why they are unstable. Medina Memorial Hospital should be ashamed of themselves for the cost of such services, and it's easily evident as to why heath insurance costs what it does. This hospital is "raping" the insurance companies. When inquired about the bill, a person without insurance the cost would have been significantly cheaper. Unbelievable, and how ashamed they should be for charging something so outrageous for something that could be bought over the counter. SHAMEFUL! UPDATE!! So after a few more weeks I received another bill in the mail for this same visit. This bill was from Emergency Physicians Services for the Dr's portion of the visit. This bill was for $885.00. So the total for a bee sting to go to the hospital costs $2,191.03. What a rip off this hospital and it's Dr's are and again no wonder why they are in the situation they are in. There is no way an average person can afford these prices in a small town like Medina or Albion. Never again, will we obtain any services from this hospital or it's Dr's.

**PLEASE READ**I wish there was a negative star review to give... first off: my mom went there November 2017, complaining of pain in her abdominal area. They literally told her she was constapated. Didn't run a CT scan, nothing. She sat in er for God knows how long, and they sent her on her way after being told to take some laxitives. December 2017, still having pain she went to STRONG, they of course ran a CT scan.. pancreatic cancer, March 2018 she passed away. They still have the nerve to send hospital bills to my house asking my dad to pay, are u serious? Second off: I just got in a car accident two weeks ago. They charged me over 2000$ for the 25 min ambulance ride. They gave me a CT scan I have a broken c7 in my neck, they didn't have me take any jewlery out, for the CT scan. Gave me the cheapest neck brace ever, and are charging me like 300$ for the brace. With no instrucrions on what to do when i go home other then take it easy. They gave me the lowest dose of ibuprofen. And sent me on my way. Later that day I went to STRONG, they gave me a CT scan, broken c7 in my neck. They gave me a neck brace, with instructions to keep it on for 3 months so the bones can hopefully heal back together. If they don't I could need surgery that could paralyze me for life, kept me in observation for a few days, actually came to my room often and with REAL spine doctors and set me up with check up appts with them. So you tell me. If you're from this area I'd recommend the drive to STRONG , or at least brockport/or batavia. This hospital should be out of business. I understand it's convenient, but is it?..to get half fast false treatment?

Fines, Complaints, and Inspection Problems in the Past 3 Years

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
Medina Memorial Hospital S N F has not received any fines, complaints, or inspection problems in the last 3 years.
