    My dad was a resident at Dumont Nursing Home in New Rochelle. A lot of his clothing and other items was stolen on a regular basis, the staff is rude and didn't attend to him properly. I literally had to beg one of the CNS's to change his soiled Depends diaper. Then after I begged and pleaded for her to change it, I had to help her clean and change my dad. The carpeting smelled like urine. I would NOT recommend Dumont to anyone seeking a skilled nursing home.

    My Mom passed in 2014 and they just sent me a bill for her room, Feb 6, 2017. Very poorly run. Most of the nurses are good, but there is a lot of stealing so you have to make sure you keep on top of everything your loved one has and you have to be there every day to make sure your loved one is being taken care of. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone except for short rehab.
