    I was very concerned about placement for my uncle, I chose Oceanside and was so very pleased with his care. I felt the compassion from the staff. I had no complaints. I was very happy with my choice. Clean, friendly staff, I have visited other facilities and this was by far the best kept.. Keep it up Oceanside!

    I'm only writing this now as my mom will once again be going into a rehabilitation nursing home. I just read a 5 star review about this facility where the person wrote "nice owner, looked well run". Talk about judging a book by its cover. My mom spent a little over a month last November at this home. I have to say the staff not all, but many are absolutely not professional. They would enter the room and mom whom was a professional RN for 35 + years would ask the name of the person and they ignored her. They did not announce themselves or what they were entering the room for. I believe this is protocal Also many did not wear there name tag or at least kept in hidden. On several occasions mom would call for help at times as she was incontinent and her calls went unanswered for quite some time. The home itself is in my opinion dirty, and not a cheerful atmosphere. My advise if you enter this facility is go with your gut feeling. RUN!!!

    My father was here for a few weeks three years ago. It was such a nightmare that it still bothers me and I had to write this review. I would come there every day to see my father and found him in a wheelchair in the corner of the room blocked in with tables so he could not get out. They were upset because he wanted to walk. From the photos, it looks like the lobby was redone but the rooms were horrible and I don't see any photos showing that the rooms were redone. The owner should stay here one day but I'm sure he'll go to a much nicer facility.

    My mother is currently a patient at this facility. It is a nightmare to say the least. My mother has been left by staff without a callbell within arms reach, ignored and treated poorly by most of the staff. Strongly not recommended!
