    I am a professional who works with helping families find assisted living or dementia living. I have worked with King Street for the past 5 years and have assisted many families who have discharged to assisted living. I find that the rehab at King Street is exceptional. I always ask for feedback from families and the vast majority of the responses are with excellent feedback. This is a family owned facility with the owners on site full time. I have sent my family members there for rehab and will continue to do so. They also get a lot of patients from the Fairfield County hospitals as well.

    My father (90) had two visits to KSR, firstly for rehab after a heart valve replacement and somewhat later for recovery from an infection which turned from rehab to palliative care until his death. King Street is the Rolls Royce of rehabs that we looked at and returned without a second thought for my father's second stint there. The staff are super competent and have a buoyant attitude even when confronted with someone who is dying. They manage that with grace and dignity. I would recommend this family-owned business to anyone, whether it be for rehab or as a nursing home. From my point of view, the key question is "would you put your parent here?". A resounding "yes."

    King Street Rehab is a five star facility which looks more like a country club than what it is. The staff is caring, respectful, professional and in tune with the residents' needs. They exude warmth and help the resident make the necessary changes required to meet the challenges of progressing to a better state of mind and health.
