My grandma recently had rehab here and this place is wonderful! The staff is so nice and the building is super clean and always smells good! We appreciate everything you guys did to get her back on her feet with therapy.

My husband was in The Laurels for rehab after an extended hospital stay. When he entered there he could receive rehab for 3 months. After 3 weeks they wanted him out of rehab and into self pay. Three weeks is was not a fair chance at rehab because of his weak condition. We found out the reason they wanted him out of rehab was so they could put someone else in that they could receive more money from. They get more money from Medicare during the first three weeks of rehab and then the amount goes down. They are only interested in making money, they care nothing about the patients.

My Mother stayed there for several weeks. I could always leave knowing she was in good hands.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.
