The aides let the call lights go off they feel as if is not there assignment they don't have to answer the call light... the scheduler shawna storm is a felon and mess with people hours she was having sex with a employee there got pregnant was giving him extra money on his check. Katlin the hr she doesn't return phone calls the whole staffing is a mess if you want to make money it's a good place they always short staff all the time . Also 3rd shift ends at 630 first shift don't start getting or changing ppl till it's almost time for breakfast so when it's time for them to get dressed first shift blames it on 3rd that the resident bed is wet when in reality they give them poor car

Awful! This is not 5 star as they would like the public to believe. Owners are scam artist-administrator does not like RN's! You will never be able to use PTO-administrator told me that nurses only work 2-3 days, why would nurses need to use PTO? That is bull because that is supposedly one of the perks of the job and it doesn't matter if you work only three days that is still 36 hours. I should've walked out during orientation when she tried to tell me no shift diff because nurses don't have shifts? Does that make any sense. She also said nurses will get paid minimum-wage for last paycheck unless employee follows strict guidelines which requires never getting paid for unused PTO and working till they find a replacement for your job. That should be illegal. Make you sign your life over to them for crappy work conditions, dirty facility hid behind locked doors, patients laundry mixed together in piles on cement floor, and medication cart filled with narcotics from patients that don't even reside there anymore. Nurse manager throws a fit and screams in the morning, I was told not to look at her because she does this every morning! Good grief! I left the first week of training.

Nursing care is substandard. Short staffed. Multiple issues. Must advocate for patient on a daily basis for adequate care. Many health care issues not monitored appropriately, ie., wound care, hygiene, weight fluctuations, grooming, etc. Minimal response to call lights, if ever. Some staff is ok, others disengaged. Nursing director and nurses make excuses for lack of care rather than correcting issues. Strongly avoid! Update: It got worse. We finally had to remove him from their care and put him in the hospital. He gained over 10 pounds of fluid even when they were specifically told to weigh him everyday and put him on Lasix if a weight gain of 3 pounds. They didn't weigh him everyday or act on his gain. The wound care doctor said his wounds were infected, and then denied it later when questioned. Wounds getting infected under a doctor's care is serious. Hospital confirmed infection and weight gain. Even hospital agreed he would have died if left under their care. I will be filing a complaint with centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
