I am in Noble Pound now with fracture bone in leg and fracture rib and I am very pleased with my care the aids are awesome and therapy girls are so caring and helpful. I am do glad to be here rather than someplace else. Everybody in here cares about you. Sometime you just can't please people. Happy at Noble Pound.?

Not a review for me but a friend. Awful nursing care! My friend never gets things she needs no tooth brush or anything that should be supplied by the care center also hours waiting to get nurse to come in for any requests . This is how the elderly are treated no matter what? Sad ...need to reset core values here at this place ! Best rating as it is observing would be a 2

We have been very fortunate for our mom to be at Altercare for the past few weeks. She has received great therapy and care during her stay and is able to return home because of it.

I did not have a good experience at Nobles Pond. I was only there for one week but would never suggest this place for anyone. The care was terrible. They are so understaffed that it takes forever to get anyone to help you. Septic system was backed up so I had to share a bedside commode with my roommate, It was not emptied tor over 2 dys. The food was terrible, never hot.at the best luke warm. I got there on a Sunday and I was never admitted until Thursday night at 9pm. They told friends of mine I was not there. In the evening when friends try to leave it takes them about 10 to 15 min to finds someone to let them out because the doors are locked. The help is nice but they cant do there job because they are short staffed. I tried to get water to drink and was told they had to try to find some. I finally got water Monday afternoon. My family would bring over bottled water for me because there were two days they did not bring water around. The list goes on and on. This was a terrible experience for myself any the lady I shared a room with. So sad. They many people I talked with felt the same way I did.

My name is Karen Speelman I have been a patient at the ponds for 2 1/2 years. I had an emergency surgery on my colon which ruptured. Leaving me fighting for my life. I spent most of my time between mercy medical, Cleveland clinic and the ponds. When I arrived I had drainage bags which the staff needed to be trained on how to care for. I went through kidney failure, many infections, hear problems. All of which the staff stepped up and handled beautifully. Because of all my problems I was unable to really get started in physical therapy. The staff here fought for me to have water therapy at Hudson Ohio which they felt would put me on the road to recovery. I will never be able to say enough and thank enough the staff here. Today thanks to them I am using a wheelchair, walker, can stand and pivot. The therapy department is like no other never giving up on me or letting me give up on myself. I owe my life to the care and fast reaction to the staff here. I would recommend anyone put there loved ones here. Thank you aulter care at the ponds you have given me a life I never thought I would have !

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected

Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
