My girlfriends father has been a resident at this nursing home for 3 years at least and let me just tell you this place is the most disgusting nursing home anyone can possibly put your loved one in for long term care. Almost every day his room smelled like urine and feces, and the floor was sticky and never mopped or cleaned. Constantly and almost on a daily basis his cigarettes and pop goes missing, presumably stolen by nurses so called "tending" to his needs, yet they fail to give him his meds one day, and over dose him another day to where he's practically falling out of his wheelchair or in his food in the dining hall. And just recently his cupboard where his snacks was locked so only he could access it was broken intentially and stuff went missing again. The caseworker also never returns your call when you complain and we are currently in the process of moving him to another home, and they are taking forever to move the process along. Do not even consider taking your loved ones here because nobody should have to put up with this kind of mess and poorly managed nursing home. Almost all the nurses are ghetto and black and talk about beating another one up for talking sh#@ and they are so immature a monkey could be a better candidate as an employee. Stay away from this place or you will regret it.

I negatively reviewed this nursing home a year ago and if anything, it's gotten worse. My sister has resided there for 3 years and she's constantly complaining about her personal items being stolen, laundry items lost, and aides not bothering to help her shower for days at a time. Management issues seem to be a main problem, top to bottom. Good staff leave out of frustration, aides are generally terrible, managers are always revolving. The place could be improved immensely with decent management.

I worked at this place for 8 yrs as an STNA, this place is horrible! I stayed for the ppl I worked with and for the patients, for the first 5 yrs, the next 3 yrs the place went to crap, so glad I don't work there anymore, I really feel sorry for the patients that have to reside there what a shame, I myself do not know why this place has not been shut down either

I was there for11 months,I've watched a couple people die that never should have, because of neglect, the nurses are horrible if they know that they can get away with it,I never let them! I have called it to the states attention, several times, they don't seem to care either,I've been given the wrong medication more than once,if you really care for someone don't let them be placed there, the food I wouldn't even feed to my dog!

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
