    I had a recent experience here that was more than I could have ever asked for. My mother was on the rehab unit. Therapy was amazing!!!! Staff was polite for the most part. The building is clean and we'll lite which is uplifting. They are not perfect, so there was a small bump in the road but I definitely felt as though the management team did everything they could to turn things around. We left happy and would choose veranda again.

    I am a guardian for a resident that's been at Veranda Gardens for two years. The management staff was awesome until the past couple of months when literally the majority of upper management left within weeks of each other and a new team was brought in who are rude, incompetent, unprofessional and continually violate nursing home policies. I currently have a Dept of Health and ombudsman complaint with Veranda Gardens. To say the facility is understaffed is an understatement! You'll find one AIDE, not a nurse covering one floor often. The administrator NEVER returns my calls. I won't stop until their substandard staff and policies are changed. I loved it when Brian, Lindsey and the rest were there but now run, don't walk if you're considering placing a loved one there!
