I have NO idea how this place is still in "business"!! I truly suspect bribery & and exchange of monies for a passing state inspection!! Awful example of a long term care facility. If you care ONE iota for your family members, friends or love ones--this is NOT the place for YOU!!! Rude and seemingly uneducated employees that speak openly of other residents medical/personal history with NO regard for HIPPA. The very BASIC level of commonsense was SO VERY hard to find!! I lasted 5 months and RAN for the door!!! IT WAS LIKE PRACTICING NURSING IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE!!! DIRTY, THE STENCH OF BM AND FOUL URINE ALWAYS PRESENT, THE AIDES WOULD BEHAVE IN THE MOST GHETTO WAYS--PHYSICAL FIGHTS ARE COMMONPLACE, PATIENTS DECLINED DUE TO TREATMENTS NOT PERFORMED PER MR ORDERS, LAZY/MEAN/RUDE STAFF, BEDSORES ABUNDENT, HARD DRUG USE BY PATIENTS OVERLOOKED....The sad thing is I could go ON And ON!!!! This is JUST the VERY TIP of the ICEBERG!!! STAY AWAY!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
