    My elderly Mom stayed for 5 days and she came home extremely dehydrated, to say the least. We sent a short note to the staff and posted it next to her bed saying please help her eat and drink because she can't feed herself. I went there daily and the staff totally disregarded the note, plus they gave her the wrong meds. We spoke with administrative people numerous times about her care. When my mom came home, she slept for days, would barely drink or eat and was very weak. It's been 2 weeks since she's been home and now she barely drinks any fluids and won't eat. She can't go on like this much longer. After numerous phone calls to Mentor Woods, they won't admit it was any fault of theirs and the instructions we sent with her (which we hung by her bed & also put a copy in her file) somehow went missing and no one remembers reading them. My mom was only on 2 meds, but they stopped giving them to her and one of them was an antidepressant and the other was a high blood pressure pill. Sadly she probably is not going to live much longer without eating or drinking. I feel Mentor Woods brought this on.

    I love my patients and my co workers very friendly and care very much for the well being of the patients everyone works as a team to get the patients the best care from the administration to the DON ,Nurses and the stnas they all work very hard and I'm proud to be part of this team .

    The previous DON is Filipino and she is very rude and would not give any chances for a new grad nurse, especially when the new grad nurse is minority. I wonder how this kind of person got such important position.
