I don't recommend working here. This place will suck the positive right out of you. The staffing is horrible to new employees which is why the turnover rate is SO HIGH. The employees do whatever they want and management doesn't care. One of the employees there got my phone number and has been harassing me ever since I reported one of the patients being abused. Its a joke to work there if you are a good aide. I have known many good workers who up and left because of certain aides who harass them to the point that they quit. Management there has no control over their staff. I feel sorry for the residents there and I would never bring my loved ones to stay there.

They had bed bugs numerous times and tried telling us we brought them in ! They do not follow proper procedure in documenting residents files. They kept telling us things our relative allegedly did which was witnessed by a staff member but never documented in her file. Our relative layed out there one morning until our family had arrived and she had had a stroke and not a single staff member recognized the signs or called us. Definitely NOT somewhere I would put my loved one again.

I have applied here three times for STNA work. I've begun to feel that they are prejudice against men. I couldn't get past my second interview with their male administrator. And I don't interview poorly. With my experience it should have been a no brainer to give me a try. They just don't seem to want male caregivers. They just extend the initial interview to keep up appearances. Their loss.

Bed bugs like crazy.. waking up all their residence at 2 am to get them dressed and shower to get a jump start on their day . Workers need to hide bedbugs so cant be seen

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
