To me, this place isn't where you want to place your mom,or dad, or any family member.. Why, because of the way your treated here. Aids don't answer call light, when they do. An hr has passed by..give an aid something to tell the nurse, you got to keep doing it. And doing it, till they do there job, or the the nurse decides, to put there cigarette out long enough for him or her to do there job..The so, called aids that are working here run around, playing and talking on there phones, it's aJoke..And the aids will be off hiding in someone's room, or on another hall because to get out of cleaning someone up, I thought that's there job, that's what they got hired to do... I've been here 20 months I should of been gone a long time a go..When it's time to leave, they find a reason to keep you longer, to get your $$$ money..

Really impressed, saw their booth and them volunteering at the Sojourner 5K in Hamilton.

This place is just ok. What really irritates me is that I can Rarely get someone on the phone after 5:00pm M-F to speak to my family member. During the weekends you can forget it.

This is a terrible place. They ignore patient call lights to the point that patients eventually get desperate and call out for help day and night. Aides and nurses appear to be understaffed and overworked. I called down to report a problem and the phone rang 50 times before there was an answer.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
